Summary: I have been writing well for four years now with a strong command in both
the academic and the creative disciplines. It is my firm belief that
"We Live in a World that Writing Built," and it is my goal to make
our world a more understandable, coherent place.
Work History:
2000-2002 Library Assistant, St. Edward's University
I worked at the Circulation Desk, where my responsibilities
included but were not limited to charging and discharging books,
shelving books, organizing books, and researching the cost of book.
At the library I gained a strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel,
and the library program Sirsi, a program which deals with all the aspects
of the collection.
1998-2000 Radio Personality, KACVFM, Master Control Operator, KACVTV
I worked at the Amarillo College Student run Radio station as a personality on the morning show.
My responsibilities were to turn on the radio station, play muisc,
take requests, organize the music library, give away prizes, and keep a high level
of excitement for the listensers. My responsibilities as a Master Control Operator
were to run public service announcements at required times, keep an accurate log
of all activity during my slot and keep the program library organized throughout
my shift. It was at these two jobs where I learned to handle high stress situations well.
